Matt and I spent about 30 minutes with Cindy in ICU. She's in pretty rough shape, in alot of pain, and not too coherent. I shared the miraculous news of how well the surgery went and it brought tears to her eyes. Of course, 10 minutes later she couldn't remember any of our conversation, so I told her all over again and she was thrilled as if hearing it for the first time. This could be fun telling Cindy the good news about every 10 minutes and watching her thrilled reaction, again and again. Precious moments.
