Cindy is sitting in the chair again. Today the chair was put a little further from the bed, so she had a few extra steps to take. She did better today than yesterday - baby steps of progress.
Cindy has had some terrific nurses over the last week - Jackie, Shelly, Olivia, Jen, Anna, Woo-Lim, and Klaudia - a helpful and caring nursing student that was assigned to Cindy today.
Recovery is definitely more of a marathon than a sprint. Paced progress and trusting the Lord for strength and perseverance are the keys.

Hi Rick & Cindy,
ReplyDeleteIt is awesome to see how God's tender hands have been flowing not only through the surgeon's hands during the surgery but also through the nurses (and yours) during these post-op days and will continue throughout the entire recovery period. We are all blessed to see from afar God's miraculous powers at work in and through you both. May He continue His tender healing of both mind and body revealing His Glory expressed here on earth.
Much love, Debbie
